Knowledge Transfer and Exchange (KTE)At the Institute for Work and Health (IWH), the KTE department aims to create ongoing exchange between researchers and stakeholders, so that research informs practice, and vice versa. This exchange occurs by involving stakeholders in research, and through networks of "educationally influential" clinicians. IWH also communicates its research through KTE publications, media relations, workshops and events.

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)NICE is an independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance on promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health. The Partnering InitiativeThe Partnering Initiative does commissioned work with organizations and individuals in all sectors to develop innovative approaches to cross-sector partnering for sustainable development. The goals of the partnering initiative are to gather, generate and disseminate knowledge on the strategy and practice of cross sector partnering; improve the quality of cross sector partnerships and the partnering process; and develop partnering capacity.

Policy Research Initiative (PRI)PRI is a government policy research group whose mandate is to conduct and compile research applicable to social policy, and to ensure the transfer of this knowledge to decision-makers.

Program in Policy Decision-Making (PPD)Based out of McMaster University, PPD conducts research on factors that influence the translation of healthcare research into healthcare management and policymaking. PPD has an ongoing project to update a systematic review of research on evidence-based policymaking.
